Process manual proposal for international trade career at UPEC university

Abstract

This research emphasizes as proposal a Process Manual for the Foreign Trade Career, which was
made through a base-diagnosis, directed and supervised by research teachers; this was structured
through procedures focused on field research, as well as the collection and use of the information
provided by each of the internal commissions, based on the existing ones and others that needed to
be generated for both academic and administrative career activities; the elaboration of this manual,
stems from the identification, structure or division of twelve processes contained in: strategic
processes; fundamental or institutional and supportive which were obtained in order to stablish
an efficient and effective process-management to be put into practice from the Career Direction.
The procedures focused on the selection of activities performed by each one of the commissions, carried out by the task forces which helped for the establishment, identification and inventory of processes, classification, process map, and their selection with the use of different techniques and tools, provided and supervised by Luis Vela, teacher of the module Administration by Processes, in which the students actively participated. At the end of this research, it was possible to consolidate the information to design the process manual for the career, which will serve as the basis for the subsequent implementation of some different identified processes that will support or help for the Foreign Trade career accreditation.
